In depth

Why not everything runs daily

The web interfaces of Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot and Google AI Mode experience more frequent outages on the provider side. We couldn't keep a daily promise there. That's why they run every three days by default; the cadence can be set separately for core and extended – daily, every two days, every three days, weekly, or off. Google AI Mode only moves into the core measurement after two weeks of proven stability.

What this means for the metrics

The main metric, AI visibility, is based on the core measurement and on organic prompts. Extended platforms are shown separately via a filter, so that days with outages don't distort the main metric. A prompt that runs daily on all six platforms uses 180 credits a month; at the recommended cadence, 120.

Frequently asked questions
Yes, the cadence is adjustable. That uses more credits; failed attempts on disrupted interfaces cost nothing.
Because we've only been measuring it since September 2026. A platform only enters the daily core measurement after two weeks of proven stability.
